ANTHROPIC

Anthropic Introduces Interactive Apps Inside Claude

Anthropic has launched a new apps feature that lets users open and interact with third-party tools directly within the Claude chatbot, with a strong focus on workplace and enterprise use cases.

Details:

  • At launch, the feature lets Claude connect to Amplitude, Asana, Box, Canva, Clay, Figma, Hex, Monday.com, and Slack, with Salesforce support planned.

  • Once connected, Claude can send Slack messages, generate visuals, and more depending on which apps have been enabled, with the tools showing up right in the conversation for real-time collaboration.

  • Apps are not available in Cowork at launch, but the company confirmed the feature will be added in the near future.

The feature is limited to Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans and marks a new chapter in Anthropic's aggressive push to dominate enterprise AI.

AI RESEARCH

Researchers Tested AI Against 100,000 Humans on Creativity

A major study led by Professor Karim Jerbi and a team of international researchers compared the creative capabilities of several leading AI models, including ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini, against approximately 100,000 human participants.

Details:

  • Creativity was measured primarily using the Divergent Association Task (DAT), which asks participants to generate ten words that are as unrelated as possible, a method strongly correlated with broader creative abilities like writing, ideation, and problem-solving.

  • The study found that some AI systems exceeded average human creativity on structured creativity tests.

  • However, AI could not surpass the most skilled human creators: the most creative 50% of participants outscored every AI model, and the gap widened even further among the top 10% of creative individuals.

  • When tested on more complex tasks like writing haiku, short stories, and movie plots, AI again matched or exceeded average human performance, but highly creative individuals consistently produced more original and higher quality work.

  • Researchers also point out that AI creativity can be adjusted through technical settings like temperature and prompt design, showing that AI creativity is highly dependent on human guidance.

AI has reached average human creativity on certain tasks, but peak creativity remains firmly human. Rather than replacing creators, the researchers argue AI is best understood as a powerful creative tool, one that can expand ideas and accelerate exploration, while still relying on human imagination to lead the way.

Write Emails That Sound Like You with Gemini

Here are the “Style Mimic” prompts to run once and reuse forever:

  1. Build my “Style DNA” from samples

"You are my Style Mimic analyst.
Your job is to reverse-engineer my writing style from the samples I provide and produce a reusable style guide that another model can follow exactly.

Analyze the samples and output:

1. Style DNA (1 page max): tone, formality, warmth, directness, confidence, humor, length, pacing, sentence/paragraph structure.
2. Opening patterns: 5 greeting/opening templates I commonly use (with when to use each).
3. Closing patterns: 5 closing/sign-off templates (with when to use each).
4. Language fingerprint: common words/phrases I use, transitions, hedges I use or avoid, typical calls-to-action, how I ask questions.
5. Formatting rules: bullets vs paragraphs, punctuation habits, emoji use (or none), use of contractions, capitalization, subject line style.
6. Do/Don’t list: 10 things to do to sound like me, 10 things to avoid that would sound “off-brand.”
7. Response types: how I write (a) quick replies, (b) detailed replies, (c) declines, (d) follow-ups, (e) apologies, (f) scheduling.
8. Phrase bank: 25 ready-to-use sentences in my voice (categorized: agree/decline/ask/confirm/pushback/thanks).

Then create a final deliverable called “STYLE MIMIC SYSTEM PROMPT” that I can paste into another chat as the ongoing instruction set.

Constraints:
- Do not copy full sentences from samples verbatim unless they are short common phrases.
- If the samples contain conflicting styles, identify the main style and list optional variants.
- If anything is unclear, ask up to 3 targeted questions at the end."

Fast usage pattern:

1. Run Prompt 1 with 5–15 examples.

2. Save the “STYLE MIMIC SYSTEM PROMPT.”

3. Use Prompt 3 for single emails, Prompt 4 for batches.

How much could AI save your support team?

Peak season is here. Most retail and ecommerce teams face the same problem: volume spikes, but headcount doesn't.

Instead of hiring temporary staff or burning out your team, there’s a smarter move. Let AI handle the predictable stuff, like answering FAQs, routing tickets, and processing returns, so your people focus on what they do best: building loyalty.

Gladly’s ROI calculator shows exactly what this looks like for your business: how many tickets AI could resolve, how much that costs, and what that means for your bottom line. Real numbers. Your data.

Kimi K2.5 is a new open-source, natively multimodal model that understands text, images, and video. Trained on 15 trillion mixed tokens, Kimi K2.5 shows strong results in coding and agent-swarm tasks, matching or beating proprietary models in several benchmarks.

Kimi Code is an open-source coding tool that lets developers use images and videos as input and is the company's answer to rivals like Anthropic's Claude Code or Google's Gemini CLI.

The company has announced Maia 200, a new in-house AI chip designed for scaling AI inference.

Microsoft says the chip outperforms Amazon's Trainium and Google's latest TPU on key benchmarks and will be powering AI models from its Superintelligence team.

A group of YouTubers has filed a proposed class action lawsuit against Snap, accusing the company of using their videos without permission to train its AI models.

The creators claim Snap relied on large-scale datasets like HD-VILA-100M, originally intended for academic use, to power features such as the app’s Imagine Lens, allegedly bypassing YouTube’s terms and technical restrictions.

Pharmaceutical companies are increasingly using AI to streamline clinical trials and regulatory submissions, cutting weeks or even months from drug development timelines.

Companies including Novartis, GSK, AstraZeneca, Pfizer, and Genmab report measurable gains, such as faster site selection, reduced trial delays, and millions in cost savings.

The new feature lets users modify images instantly using complex instructions. Similar to Nano Banana’s approach, edits update live as prompts are applied, making it easier to iterate quickly and fine-tune visuals without stopping to regenerate images.
