Turn Any Idea Into a Polished Deck Using ChatGPT and Canva ⭐
Gemini can now pull context the rest of your Google apps 👀

Welcome to another edition of Horizon AI,
Making a good presentation usually means hours of copying text, picking layouts, and fighting with slide designs. But with Canva built directly into ChatGPT, that whole process can now happen in minutes. In today’s issue, we’re looking at how you can turn a simple prompt (like a trip plan, report, or idea) into a fully designed slide deck without opening PowerPoint or Google Slides at all.
Let’s jump into it!

Google Launches ‘Gemini Personal Intelligence'

Google is rolling out a new feature in the Gemini app called Personal Intelligence, letting the AI pull from your Gmail, Google Photos, Search, and YouTube history to give more tailored answers, if you choose to opt in.
Details:
It allows Gemini to reason across your Google account, using emails, photos, searches, and watch history to answer questions without you needing to tell it which app to check.
For example, Gemini can look up vehicle information from emails, pull license plate numbers from saved photos, and suggest products based on past trips or activity it finds across your account.
Google warns the feature may sometimes make incorrect or overly personal connections, especially around sensitive life changes or shifting interests, and says it is working to reduce those errors.
The feature is opt-in, and users can choose exactly which Google apps they want Gemini to access.
While Gemini won’t train directly on your inbox or photo library, limited data such as your prompts and its replies may still be used to improve the system.
Personal Intelligence is launching first in beta for U.S. Google AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers, with plans to expand to more countries, free users, and AI-powered Search later.
This move turns Gemini into a much more context-aware assistant, raising both the promise of smarter help, and new questions about how much personal data people are willing to share with AI.

Slackbot Becomes an AI Agent Inside Slack

Salesforce has upgraded Slackbot into a full AI agent, turning it from a simple helper into a digital coworker that can complete tasks across Slack and connected work tools.
Details:
The new AI-powered Slackbot is now available for Business+ and Enterprise+ customers and can search for information, draft emails, schedule meetings, and carry out everyday work tasks directly inside Slack.
It can also connect to tools like Microsoft Teams and Google Drive, allowing users to pull data from multiple enterprise systems without leaving a Slack conversation.
Salesforce says this version is completely different from the old Slackbot, keeping the name mainly because it’s already familiar to users.
Internally, the company has been testing the AI agent for months, and executives say it has become one of the most widely adopted tools among Salesforce employees.
Future plans include adding voice features and the ability for Slackbot to browse the web, expanding it beyond text-only interactions.
The upgrade is part of Salesforce’s broader push to make AI a core part of its enterprise software.

Build Beautiful Slides in Minutes With ChatGPT and Canva

You can turn notes, research, or an outline into a full slide deck in minutes by connecting Canva to ChatGPT. It works on free plans for both, but paid plans offer additional features and fewer limitations.
Connect Canva to ChatGPT:
Go to Settings → Apps and connectors
Find Canva and click Connect
Sign in to your Canva account
Select Canva before you prompt
To make a design instead of plain text:
Start a new chat
Choose Canva from the tool picker
Or start your prompt with “Canva…”
You’ll see the Canva logo when it’s active.
Describe the presentation you want
Tell ChatGPT:
What the presentation is about
The tone (fun, professional, simple, etc.)
Any sections you need (overview, budget, schedule, etc.)
Example:
Turn my trip plan into a presentation
Add slides for travel, costs, and activities
Make it easy to present to a group
The more detail you give, the better the slides.
Open and review/edit the design
ChatGPT will generate the deck and show a preview.
Click Edit or View to open it in Canva.
It usually looks good right away, but you may want to make small adjustments. You can change the text or images, swap colors or fonts, or add or remove slides. You can do this in Canva or ask ChatGPT to regenerate it with a new prompt.
Share or download
In Canva, click the Share button to see options to download, share, present, print, and more.
