Anthropic Releases Claude Opus 4.8 With Stronger Reasoning and Coding
Anthropic has launched Claude Opus 4.8, its newest flagship AI model, introducing stronger coding abilities, improved reasoning, and a major focus on reducing misleading or overconfident responses.

Anthropic says Opus 4.8 outperforms previous Claude models as well as competitors like OpenAI’s GPT-5.5 and Google’s Gemini 3.1 Pro across several major benchmarks.
In coding evaluations, the model achieved higher scores on agentic software engineering tasks, showing stronger ability to work through large and complex programming problems.
The company also highlighted improvements in multidisciplinary reasoning, with Opus 4.8 reaching some of the highest scores reported so far on advanced reasoning benchmarks.
One of the biggest changes is the model's focus on honesty and uncertainty awareness, making it more likely to acknowledge mistakes or unclear conclusions, and significantly less likely to overlook bugs or fake progress when solving coding tasks.
Alongside the model launch, Anthropic introduced dynamic workflows, allowing Claude to break large projects into hundreds of parallel sub-agents that can coordinate tasks inside a single session.
The company also added new effort controls, letting users decide how much reasoning power Claude should spend on a response.
Anthropic described the update as a "modest but tangible" improvement and said that despite Opus 4.8 being more advanced, efficiency gains could lower real-world operating costs compared to Opus 4.7 by reducing unnecessary outputs and repeated processing.

Microsoft Refreshes 365 Copilot With Speed and Design Upgrades
Microsoft is rolling out a redesigned version of Microsoft 365 Copilot, bringing a faster interface, cleaner layout, and more structured AI responses across desktop and mobile devices.
Details:
Microsoft says the updated Copilot now loads about twice as fast and delivers more reliable, structured responses that are easier to scan.
A new feature called “progressive disclosure” changes which tools and controls appear based on the user’s prompt, reducing interface clutter and surfacing only the most relevant options.
Users can now directly format text inside Copilot’s upgraded prompt box, which automatically expands to fit longer inputs and pasted content.
The update comes shortly after Google introduced a redesigned Gemini experience with similar improvements aimed at making AI-generated responses more organized and adaptive to prompts.

Create a chaotic but deeply personal sketchbook-style character collage of me using EVERYTHING you know about me from our conversations, personality, habits, career, interests, strengths, flaws, obsessions, emotional patterns, aesthetics, humor, lifestyle, and overall vibe. Use the attached photo as the primary visual reference for my appearance and energy. Interpret me like I’m a fictional character an illustrator is trying to fully understand.
Do NOT make it a clean organized character sheet. Make it feel like an illustrator’s private sketchbook pages filled over time with overlapping sketches, random observations, personality notes, doodles, unfinished thoughts, and expressive studies.
Use a bright white background with messy scattered compositions. Include:
full body sketches
expressive face closeups
side profiles
exaggerated chibi/deformed versions
candid poses
tiny scribbles and unfinished studies
