OpenAI’s Sora Tool Leaked By Group of Early Testers 🤯
A group of Sora beta testers leaked early access to Sora, with a working interface for generating videos. In a Hugging Face post, they claimed users were able to create AI videos similar to OpenAI’s Sora demos before the company shut down access.
Details:
The leak was allegedly carried out by artists involved in the testing phase, under the username “PR-Puppets.”
The group accuses OpenAI of exploiting their unpaid labor for testing and feedback, calling it "art washing" to lend credibility to the product.
OpenAI has since denied their claims, stating that participation in Sora’s research preview is voluntary, and that artists receive free access, grants, and other support.
The leaked system allowed users to generate 10-second videos in up to 1080p resolution by typing a short text description, with the produced videos featuring OpenAI’s watermark.
Former OpenAI CTO Mira Murati said in March that Sora would launch by year-end. However, CPO Kevin Weil recently explained that it hadn’t been released yet due to the need to "scale" the compute required to power it and address safety and impersonation concerns.

Zoom Drops “Video” From Its Name, Rebrands as an AI-First Company
Zoom is rebranding itself as an “AI-first work platform for human connection.” The company has officially changed its name from Zoom Video Communications Inc. to Zoom Communications Inc., signaling a shift away from its video-focused identity.
Details:
CEO Eric Yuan describes Zoom as an “AI-first” platform, aiming to automate repetitive tasks like emails and meetings with tools like its AI companion 2.0.
As workers return to offices, Zoom faces competition from office suites like Google Workspace and Microsoft Teams, which integrate video as just one feature.
Zoom now provides a full suite of workplace tools, including Zoom Team Chat, productivity apps, and a business email client.
Zoom is adapting to the evolving needs of hybrid workplaces and the increasing competition from tech giants like Google and Microsoft.

How to tailor Claude’s responses to your personal style
Anthropic has introduced a new feature for all users: custom styles that give greater control over the chatbot's responses to various writing tasks.
Go to the Claude AI website and sign in.
You can choose between 3 preset styles
Formal: Ideal for polished, professional replies.
Concise: Best for direct, to-the-point responses.
Explanatory: Helpful for learning new concepts with more detailed explanations.
Or, use the custom style generator by selecting “Create & Edit Styles,” then “Create Custom Style.”
Upload samples of your writing, and the system will analyze them to learn and replicate your specific style.
You can further edit the new “Style” created if needed.
Alternatively, you can create a new style without uploading any documents—just choose the “Describe Style Instead” option
