ChatGPT Launches “Your Year with ChatGPT,” a Spotify Wrapped-Style Review
OpenAI is rolling out a new year-end recap feature called “Your Year with ChatGPT,” offering users a personalized look back at how they used the chatbot throughout the year.
Details:
The feature is launching in select markets, including the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Australia, and New Zealand.
It’s available to Free, Plus, and Pro users who have chat history and saved memory references enabled and meet a minimum activity threshold. Team, Enterprise, and Education accounts are excluded from the experience.
The review is designed to be lightweight, privacy-forward, and fully user-controlled, according to OpenAI.
Similar to Spotify Wrapped, it uses visual summaries, playful graphics, and personalized “awards” based on how you used ChatGPT (for example, problem-solving or creative work).
ChatGPT also generates a custom poem and image reflecting your interests over the year.

The feature won’t open automatically but will be promoted on the home screen and can be accessed on web, iOS, and Android. Users can also trigger it manually by asking ChatGPT for “Your Year with ChatGPT.”

Internal documents and interviews cited by Business Insider show Nadella is pushing for greater speed, intensity, and urgency across the organization, with AI at the center of every decision.
Microsoft is undergoing sweeping organizational changes, including executive reshuffles and mandates to work faster and leaner, consolidating power around AI-focused leadership.
Nadella has been directly asking senior executives to either sign on for the long-term AI overhaul or consider leaving, according to people familiar with the discussions.
To free up time for technical leadership, Nadella promoted longtime sales chief Judson Althoff to CEO of Microsoft’s commercial business, allowing Nadella to focus more deeply on AI science, systems, and infrastructure.
Microsoft leaders describe a new “production function,” where AI agents and intelligence replace traditional linear software development, lowering costs and speeding up innovation.
More leadership changes may be ahead, with longtime executives potentially retiring as Microsoft adapts to its AI-first future.
The message from the top is clear: Microsoft’s future is AI-led, and leadership is expected to move at the same pace or make room for those who will.

The latest in AI and Tech
The Indie Game Awards has rescinded Game of the Year and Debut Game awards from Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 after confirming that generative AI art was used during development, violating its rules.
The organization said the developer had initially stated no gen AI was used, but a later interview contradicted that claim. Game of the Year has now been awarded to Blue Prince.
Musk has pushed forward xAI’s AGI timeline, saying the company could reach it within two years, or as early as 2026. He shared the view during an internal all-hands meeting, noting that Grok 5 has a chance of achieving AGI and is expected early next year.
The company has told Chinese customers it aims to begin shipping H200 AI chips to China before the Lunar New Year in mid-February, pending government approval. Initial deliveries could total 5,000–10,000 modules, using existing stock, with more capacity planned for 2026.
YouTube has launched an open beta for Playables Builder, a Gemini 3–powered tool that lets select creators build simple, playable games with no coding required. The prototype web app allows creators to generate bite-sized games using natural language prompts.
A group of 18 Hollywood industry figures has launched the Creators Coalition on AI (CCAI), backed by more than 500 signatories across film, TV, and creative roles. The group aims to act as a central hub to help update industry systems as AI adoption accelerates.
Its goal isn’t to block AI, but to ensure it’s adopted responsibly rather than rushed.
