ADOBE
Adobe Rolls Out AI Assistants Across Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, and More

Adobe is updating its AI assistant and adding it to Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, InDesign, and Frame. io.
Details:
Each application now includes a dedicated AI assistant powered by Adobe's Conversational Creative Agent, with every assistant specialized for the workflows and tools of its respective app rather than functioning as a single universal chatbot.
Users can interact with the assistants through natural language prompts to automate repetitive tasks, organize projects, and perform multi-step editing operations without manually navigating complex menus or workflows.
In Photoshop for example, you can organize layers, swap backgrounds, resize assets for different platforms, and more, simply by "describing the desired outcome."
According to Adobe, the goal is to provide creators with an AI assistant in every major Creative Cloud app that can understand the context of their projects and help execute complex workflows while leaving creative direction and final decisions in the hands of users.

PERPLEXITY
Perplexity Launches 'Brain,' a Self-Improving Memory System for Its AI Agent

Perplexity has introduced Brain, a new memory layer for its Computer AI agent that learns from previous tasks allowing the agent to become more efficient over time.
Details:
Unlike traditional AI memory that primarily stores user preferences, Brain focuses on the agent's work history. It records completed tasks, successful workflows, failed attempts, user corrections, and the sources or connectors used to accomplish each job.
Every completed task is added to a context graph, which links memories back to the original sessions, files, or sources. At scheduled intervals (overnight by default) Brain summarizes this information into a personal knowledge base that is loaded before future tasks, enabling the agent to begin with accumulated context instead of starting from scratch.
Perplexity says this persistent memory allows Computer to reuse effective workflows, avoid previously unsuccessful approaches, and provide full transparency by letting users trace every stored memory back to its origin.
According to Perplexity's internal testing, Brain improves answer accuracy by 25% on recurring tasks, increases recall by 16%, and reduces the computational cost of context-heavy workloads by 13%.
Brain is available in Research Preview for Perplexity Max and Enterprise Max subscribers. Perplexity says additional capabilities are planned, though it has not announced a timeline for future releases.

How to use ChatGPT's upgraded Scheduled Tasks
Go to ChatGPT and sign in.
Look for the Scheduled page in the ChatGPT sidebar on web or mobile.
Create a new task and choose when it should run.

You can also create a new task by simply asking ChatGPT in a new chat. For example: "The day before every Portugal match, send me a scouting report on the opponent including key players and tactics."

You can schedule one-off and recurring tasks, and also ask ChatGPT to check for changes and notify you when there's a meaningful update.
Go to the Scheduled page to manage your tasks.

Note: The new Scheduled Tasks experience is available to Go, Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise users on web and mobile.
