SUPER BOWL
AI Dominates Super Bowl Ads

An unprecedented number of AI companies advertised in this year's Super Bowl, with brands not only promoting AI products in high-profile commercials but also using the technology to create the ads themselves.
Details:
Svedka aired what it calls the first "primarily" AI-generated national Super Bowl commercial, featuring its Fembot character dancing alongside a new robot companion.
Google showcased its latest image generation technology (Nano Banana Pro) by following a family redesigning their home through AI-generated visuals.
Anthropic used its commercial to throw shade at rival OpenAI and poke fun at their ad plans, which escalated into an online exchange with OpenAI leadership.
Meta highlighted its Oakley-branded AI glasses with a high-energy commercial showing athletes and creators capturing action-packed moments hands-free.
Amazon leaned into humor by showing actor Chris Hemsworth jokingly accusing Alexa+ of working against him.
Other companies like Ring, Ramp, Rippling, Hims and Hers, and Wix also featured AI in their Super Bowl spots, showcasing tools for reuniting lost pets, automating business tasks, improving workplace efficiency, personalizing healthcare, and building websites without code.

BYTEDANCE
ByteDance's Seedance 2.0 Makes Waves on Social Media

ByteDance’s newly unveiled Seedance 2.0 video model is drawing strong attention online, with some early users are calling the model a major step forward for AI video generation.
Details:
Seedance 2.0 quickly gained traction on social media after early demos went viral, showing its ability to create complex multi-shot video sequences with synchronized sound effects, music, and dialogue across multiple languages.
Access to the model is currently limited to select users of ByteDance’s Jimeng AI image and video app and its Jianying video editing platform inside China, suggesting the rollout is still in an early testing phase.
Social media clips attributed to the model include cinematic sci fi scenes, anime style footage, videogame inspired visuals, and sequences resembling classic Hong Kong action films, showcasing the model’s range and stylistic flexibility.
The launch comes as competition in AI video intensifies. ByteDance’s update follows closely behind rival Kuaishou’s release of its Kling 3.0 video model, which also received strong reactions online, signaling a rapidly accelerating race among Chinese developers.

This ChatGPT Integration Helps You Spot Scams in Seconds

You can use Malwarebytes inside ChatGPT to verify links, domains, emails, and phone numbers before you click, call, or reply.
Open ChatGPT, go to Settings → Apps, search for Malwarebytes, and enable the integration. You only need to do this once.
Start a new chat and paste a suspicious link or email, a suspicious message or SMS containing an unknown phone number, or upload a screenshot you want analyzed.
Call the tool by typing something like "Malwarebytes, check this." or "Malwarebytes, is this website safe?"
You'll see the integration activate in the prompt bar. (If it doesn't, click the + icon and select the app from the drop-down menu.)
Malwarebytes will scan the details and provide information about the sender, threat intelligence, and options to report it. It will indicate whether the message appears to be a scam and flag tactics like urgency, fake links, impersonation, or credential harvesting.
You can also help strengthen its threat intelligence database by clicking the "Report as suspicious" button to report texts, messages, phone numbers, emails, URLs, and other suspicious content after receiving the evaluation.
Note: The integration is available to all ChatGPT users, as long as apps are supported in your region.
