Elon Musk Announces Chip Manufacturing Plans for SpaceX and Tesla

Elon Musk has revealed plans for a new chip manufacturing effort between Tesla and SpaceX, aiming to secure the computing power needed for the companies’ growing AI and robotics ambitions.

Details:

• Musk shared the idea at an event in Austin, where early indications suggest a new facility called Terafab could be built near Tesla’s headquarters and existing Gigafactory.

• The project is driven by supply constraints, with Musk saying current semiconductor manufacturers are not producing chips fast enough to meet the demands of AI and robotics development.

• The proposed output is massive, targeting enough chip production to support between 100 and 200 gigawatts of computing power per year on Earth, along with additional capacity planned for use in space.

3. Upload an image or enter a prompt.

If using a prompt, be very specific and describe depth, perspective, and structure. Example: A highly detailed futuristic city with towering skyscrapers, glowing neon lights, cinematic depth, volumetric lighting, realistic shadows, wide-angle perspective, 3D render style, Unreal Engine look.

4. Once your input is processed, the tool generates a complete 3D environment you can explore.
