THINKING MACHINES LAB

Mira Murati Locks in Massive Nvidia Compute Deal

Thinking Machines Lab, Mira Murati's AI research lab, announced a multi-year strategic partnership with AI semiconductor giant Nvidia

Details:

  • Thinking Machines will receive at least one gigawatt of compute power through Nvidia's new Vera Rubin systems to train its own AI models, with deployment set to begin early next year.

  • 1 gigawatt of computing power is enough to power roughly 750,000 U.S. homes and can cost around $50 billion.

  • Nvidia has also taken a financial stake in Thinking Machines, though the exact amount wasn't disclosed.

  • The partnership also includes a commitment to “design training and serving systems for NVIDIA architectures and broaden access to frontier AI and open models for enterprises, research institutions and the scientific community.”

The startup, valued at more than $12 billion, has raised more than $2 billion since launching in 2025. This new investment will bring it closer to its objective of building "multimodal" systems capable of working with people collaboratively and creating reproducible results.

ADOBE

Adobe Launches AI Assistant for Photoshop

Adobe has begun rolling out an AI assistant for Photoshop in beta on the web and mobile apps, allowing users to edit images using simple text prompts.

Details:

  • The assistant lets users perform tasks such as removing objects or people, adjusting lighting, changing colors, or modifying backgrounds through natural language instructions.

  • Users can also prompt the tool to apply effects like soft glow, crop images to specific formats, enhance shadows, or transform the overall look of an image.

  • Adobe is also introducing a new feature called AI markup, which lets users draw markers directly on an image and ask the assistant to modify or remove those elements.

  • New generative editing tools are also coming to Adobe Firefly, including Generative Fill, Generative Remove, Generative Expand, and Generative Upscale.

Paid Photoshop users will be able to generate unlimited AI edits with the assistant until April 9, while free users receive 20 generations to start.

AI Tutorial

How to prevent Grok from modifying your photos on X

  1. When uploading an image to X, tap the paintbrush icon and then select the flag icon at the bottom right of the editing taskbar

  2. Toggle on "Block modifications by Grok."

  3. Once enabled, it will prevent other users from tagging @Grok in replies to the photo and asking the AI to edit it.

However, the small text in the setting indicates that the toggle only prevents Grok from modifying content through direct tagging. It does not stop the chatbot from editing the image if someone uses another method.

So the protection is not as solid as one would want, but it will still prevent people from spamming easy Grok edits in the same post.

Wall Street Just Named the Most Crowded Trades of 2026

AI stocks. Metals. Crypto.

Surprise, surprise; gold crashed 16%. Silver plunged 34%. Bitcoin dropped to 1 year lows.

All supposedly "uncorrelated" assets moving in lockstep largely because of overleveraged margin.

JPM strategists warn that the same leverage is still a risk.

Those markets may be recovering now, but cascading liquidations could trigger quickly across several asset classes simultaneously.

So much for diversifying away risk, right?

But get this–

70,819 everyday investors have allocated $1.3 billion fractionally across 500+ exclusive investments.

Not real estate or PE… Blue-chip art. Sounds crazy, right?

Now it’s easy to invest in art featuring legends like Banksy, Basquiat, and Picasso, thanks to Masterworks.

They do the heavy lifting from acquisition to sale, so you can diversify with the strategy typically limited to the ultra-wealthy.

(Past sales delivered net returns like 14.6%, 17.6%, and 17.8% on works held longer than a year.)*
