Google Adds ā€œVibe Codingā€ to AI Studio

Google is upgrading AI Studio with vibe coding. Developers can now describe an app in natural language to generate runnable code with a live preview, and they can also deploy the app directly from the platform.

Details:

  • The vibe coding experience on Google AI Studio is powered by the Gemini 2.5 Pro AI model.

  • AI Studio can generate multimodal apps by leveraging models like Veo 3 and Nano Banana. It automatically understands the capabilities you need and selects the right models and APIs accordingly.

  • There’s also a new ā€œI’m Feeling Luckyā€ button that generates a random app, giving developers a fun way to discover new ideas and inspiration.

  • Google added the revamped App Gallery, which acts as a visual library showcasing what’s possible with the Gemini chatbot. Users can explore project ideas, preview them, learn from starter code, and remix apps into their own creations.

AI Studio includes a free quota, and if a developer exceeds it, they can add their API key to continue coding without interruption. It automatically switches back once the free tier renews.

OPENAI

OpenAI Launches ā€œCompany Knowledgeā€ in ChatGPT

OpenAI rolled out a ā€œcompany knowledgeā€ update that lets ChatGPT act like a conversational search engine for workplace data.

Details:

  • The feature is available for Business, Enterprise, and Education users and is powered by a version of GPT-5 that connects directly with tools like Slack, Google Drive, and GitHub, allowing the chatbot to sift through more sources to find answers to user queries.

  • This GPT-5-powered ā€œcompany knowledgeā€ update is trained to search multiple sources simultaneously and return consolidated answers with clear citations, so you can see exactly where the details come from.

  • It can handle ā€œambiguous questions and situations where there isn’t a clear answer,ā€ such as ā€œWhere did we land on company goals for next year?ā€ by running parallel searches and reconciling conflicting information.

  • It can also ā€œthink while it searchesā€ and use date filters, making it effective at finding time-based information.

Company knowledge must be manually selected when starting new conversations, and when enabled, ChatGPT can’t search the web or create charts or images. OpenAI says it plans to ā€œintegrate company knowledge with ChatGPT’s full range of capabilitiesā€ and add support for more tools to ā€œmake company knowledge responses even more comprehensive.ā€

How to use Amazon’s new ā€œHelp Me Decideā€ AI shopping feature

Amazon’s latest AI-powered shopping tool, Help Me Decide, is designed to make your online shopping faster and help you feel more confident in your purchase decisions.

Instead of scrolling endlessly through nearly identical products, this feature analyzes your browsing history, preferences, and reviews to recommend the best options for you.

Here’s how to try it out:

  1. Open the Amazon Shopping app or use your mobile browser, and log in to your account.

  2. Start browsing products as you normally would. After viewing several similar items, look for a black pop-up box with a sparkle icon labeled ā€œHelp Me Decide.ā€ You can also find it by tapping ā€œKeep shopping forā€ at the top of the homepage.

  3. Tap the pop-up to open the AI recommendations panel, which will display a product selected based on your shopping history and preferences.

  4. The recommendation includes an AI-generated summary explaining why that product fits your preferences. It highlights relevant features, insights from customer reviews, and an explanation of how it aligns with your previous purchases and browsing behavior.

  5. Scroll down to see two additional suggestions: one labeled ā€œBudget Pickā€ (a lower-priced alternative) and one labeled ā€œUpgrade Pickā€ (a higher-end option).

  1. Compare the recommendations and tap on a product to view its full details, reviews, and pricing.

  2. If you like Amazon’s choice, proceed by tapping ā€œAdd to Cartā€ or ā€œBuy Now.ā€

  3. As you continue browsing other categories, Help Me Decide will keep adjusting its suggestions based on your activity and preferences.

The company announced that it will release two new chips: the AI200, which is set to go on sale in 2026, and the AI250, planned for 2027.
