OPENAI

OpenAI’s First Consumer Device Will Be A Smart Speaker

OpenAI is reportedly developing a screen-free smart speaker powered by ChatGPT, marking what could become the company's first major consumer AI hardware product.

Details:

  • According to a Bloomberg report, the device will feature ChatGPT voice interactions, allowing users to ask questions, control smart home devices, play media, and respond to messages using natural conversation.

  • The speaker is expected to include a camera and additional sensors to better understand its surroundings, along with a rechargeable battery for portable use.

  • The report says the device will run on GPT-Live, OpenAI's recently introduced voice model designed for more natural, real-time conversations.

  • Bloomberg also reports that the hardware may include mechanical elements that can move on their own, creating a sense that 'it is alive and not just an object responding to commands.'

OpenAI's hardware division is aiming to unveil the device this year before releasing it in 2027. This would be part of OpenAI's bigger hardware lineup, which currently includes 'roughly' five devices said to be in development.

Meet America’s Newest $1B Unicorn

A US startup just hit a $1 billion private valuation, joining billion-dollar private companies like SpaceX, OpenAI, and ByteDance. Unlike those other unicorns, you can invest in EnergyX.

Over 50,000 people already have. So have industry giants like General Motors and POSCO.

Why all the interest? EnergyX’s patented tech can recover up to 3X more lithium than traditional methods. That's a big deal, as demand for lithium is expected to 5X current production levels by 2040. Today, they’re moving toward commercial production, tapping into 100,000+ acres of lithium deposits in Chile, a potential $1.1B annual revenue opportunity at projected market prices.

Right now, you can invest at this pivotal growth stage for $13/share. But only through July 16. Become an early-stage EnergyX shareholder before the deadline.
