ANTHROPIC
Claude Can Now Reference Past Chats

As of today, Claude is capable of referencing information from your other conversations with the AI chatbot when asked, so you don't have to re-explain yourself.
Details:
The feature works across web, desktop, and mobile.
Claude's ability to reference chats is specific to the workspace and project you're working in.
To activate the feature, go to Settings under Profile and switch it on under "Search and reference chats." You can also disable it the same way.
The key point is that Claude has to be prompted. It doesn't reference past chats unless you specifically ask it to.
Claude’s feature is more privacy-minded, and it’s not building a user profile, unlike OpenAI’s feature, which saves all conversations and relies on those records to personalize answers to any new question or prompt you send.
The feature is rolling out to users on Max, Team, and Enterprise subscription plans, with plans to expand to other plans soon.

OPENAI
OpenAI Reasoning System Achieves Gold Medal-Level Score at IOI 2025

An AI reasoning model from OpenAI just competed in the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) 2025, one of the toughest programming contests for high school students, and "scored highly enough to achieve gold" in the online competition.
Details:
The AI system placed sixth overall, finishing ahead of all but five of the 330 human participants under the same rules.
OpenAI did not train a custom model specifically for the IOI. They used a general-purpose reasoner — the same one that also recently won a gold medal at the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) — showing it performs well across different kinds of logical problems.
This is a huge leap from last year. In 2024, OpenAI's system didn't even get a bronze medal, landing in the 49th percentile. This year, it climbed to the 98th percentile of competitors.
This is yet another example of how quickly these AI systems are improving at complex problem-solving, and the OpenAI team is now working hard to bring these capabilities into their mainstream products.

How you can still access legacy models in ChatGPT

When OpenAI launched GPT-5 last week, it replaced all prior models, but popular demand has led the company to bring back access to legacy models — but only for paid users. 😔
Go to the ChatGPT website and click your account name and icon in the lower-left corner of the screen.
Select Settings → General, and then toggle on "Show legacy models."

Start a new chat, and you’ll now be able to see them listed under Other models.
*Note: Plus users can only access GPT-4o, while Pro, Team, and Enterprise users can access more models like o3 and GPT-4.1.
