CANVA
Canva Introduces a Design Model and New AI Tools

The company is rolling out its Canva Design Model, calling it the “world's first AI model trained to understand the full complexity of design,” along with upgrades to its AI assistant, Canva Grow, and more.
Details:
Canva’s new model “understands every aspect of design from structure and layering to hierarchy, branding, and visual logic,” allowing it to generate designs with editable layers and objects instead of flat images.
It works across multiple formats, including social media posts, presentations, whiteboards, and websites.
The company’s AI assistant, Canva AI, now appears throughout the interface, can now be @mentioned in comments, generate 3D objects, and allows users to copy the art style of any design.
Canva Sheets and Canva Code are now connected, allowing users to use spreadsheet data to create widgets directly from it.
The company is also launching Canva Grow, an all-in-one marketing platform that uses AI for asset creation and performance analytics. It also allows marketers to publish ads directly to platforms like Meta.
Canva is doubling down on AI as it works to retain and attract corporate customers amid growing competition. Alongside the AI features, it also unveiled several other new products and updates for its platform.

OPENAI
OpenAI Is Reportedly Planning a $1 Trillion IPO

OpenAI is exploring an IPO as soon as late 2026 to 2027, with early internal targets that could place its valuation as high as $1 trillion.
Details:
Early discussions include raising $60 billion at the low end ahead of a listing, with timing dependent on growth and market conditions, while CFO Sarah Friar has told some associates the goal is 2027.
OpenAI says an IPO is not its focus but CEO Sam Altman acknowledged going public is the most likely path given massive capital needs to build AI infrastructure at scale.
An IPO would make it easier for the company to raise capital and pursue larger acquisitions using public stock.
The move follows a major restructuring that reduces reliance on Microsoft and would help finance Altman’s plans to spend trillions of dollars on AI infrastructure, even as the company continues to operate at a loss despite being recently valued at around $500 billion.

How to get rid of the yellow tint in ChatGPT images

AI-generated images in ChatGPT often come with a slight yellow or sepia tone that can make them look older or less realistic.
This will probably be fixed in future versions of ChatGPT, but for now, you can fix the issue with a quick color correction script that neutralizes the yellow tint directly inside ChatGPT.
Visit ChatGPT and sign in.
Once you create an image and notice it has a yellow tint, use the following prompt:
Apply the neutralize_yellow function to the image:
import cv2 import numpy as np def neutralize_yellow(image): """ Takes a BGR image (NumPy array) and reduces yellow tint to make colors more neutral. Returns a new neutralized image. """ # Convert to LAB color space (L = lightness, A = green–red, B = blue–yellow) lab = cv2.cvtColor(image, cv2.COLOR_BGR2LAB) # Split into channels L, A, B = cv2.split(lab) # Compute how much yellow there is (positive shift in B channel) yellow_strength = np.mean(B) - 128 # 128 = neutral midpoint # Reduce yellow by shifting B channel toward neutral (128) if yellow_strength > 0: correction = np.clip(B - yellow_strength * 0.8, 0, 255) lab = cv2.merge((L, A, correction)) else: lab = cv2.merge((L, A, B)) # Convert back to BGR neutral_img = cv2.cvtColor(lab, cv2.COLOR_LAB2BGR) return neutral_img # Example use from another script: # from remove_yellow_tint import neutralize_yellow # neutral_image = neutralize_yellow(image_from_other_script)
ChatGPT may ask you to upload the image before applying the correction. If that happens, simply download the image you generated and upload it again. You can also upload other saved images with the same issue.

ChatGPT will process the image and return a neutralized version without the yellow tint.
Download the corrected image, it should now look more natural and balanced in color.
