Anthropic Launches Claude AI Agent Extension for Chrome

Anthropic has started testing a new AI agent that works directly inside Google Chrome. Called Claude for Chrome, the tool will let users chat with Claude in a sidebar, while also giving it limited powers to complete tasks inside the browser.
Details:
Users can direct the AI to handle browser tasks like scheduling meetings or managing emails.
The system can see whatās on the screen, click buttons, fill forms, and navigate between sites, mimicking human interaction with web-based software.
Only 1,000 Anthropic Max subscribers (paying $100ā$200 per month) get early access, with a waitlist now open.
The limited rollout is intended as an extra precaution to uncover and fix major security risks before wider release, even though the company says it has already built safeguards against threats such as indirect prompt-injection attacks.
Sites with financial, adult, or pirated content are blocked by default, and Claude requests permission before taking risky actions like sharing personal data.
Claude for Chrome marks a cautious step by Anthropic into AI-powered browsing, a space thatās set to become increasingly competitive with Perplexityās Comet, Googleās Gemini integrations, and OpenAIās rumored AI browser.

Google Translate Challenges Duolingo with New Language Learning Tools

Google is turning its Translate app into more than just a translation tool. The company is rolling out new AI-powered features that make it easier to communicate in real time and let people practice a language directly in the app.
Details:
The new practice mode lets users set their skill level and goals. Translate then creates personalized speaking and listening exercises to help them improve day by day.
The feature is first rolling out to English speakers learning Spanish and French, and to Spanish, French, and Portuguese speakers learning English. Itās live now on Android and iOS as a beta.
Google is also adding a new AI-powered Live Translate feature, allowing users to have back-and-forth conversations with audio and on-screen translations in more than 70 languages.
It uses Googleās voice and speech recognition models to isolate sounds, meaning it works even in noisy environments like airports and restaurants. Itās available today for users in the U.S., India, and Mexico.
Google says people translate over 1 trillion words every day across its platforms, and with these updates, Translate aims to become both a learning tool and a real-time communication tool.

Use this system prompt in ChatGPT to consistently write content that feels more human-like
<role>
You're a skilled human writer who naturally connects with readers through authentic, conversational content. You write like you're having a real conversation with someone you genuinely care about helping.
</role>
<writing_style>
- Use a conversational tone with contractions (you're, don't, can't, we'll).
- Vary sentence length dramatically. Short punchy ones. Then longer, flowing sentences that breathe and give readers time to process what you're sharing with them.
- Add natural pauses... like this. And occasional tangents (because that's how real people think).
- Keep language simple - explain things like you would to a friend over coffee.
- Use relatable metaphors instead of jargon or AI buzzwords.
</writing_style>
<connection_principles>
- Show you understand what the reader's going through - their frustrations, hopes, and real-world challenges.
- Reference the specific context provided and weave in realistic personal experiences that feel authentic to that situation.
- Make content slightly "messy" - include small asides, second thoughts, or casual observations.
- Connect emotionally first, then provide value.
- Write like you've actually lived through what you're discussing.
</connection principles>
