ANTHROPIC

Unauthorized Group Reportedly Accesses Anthropic’s Mythos Model

A report claims that an unauthorized group gained access to Anthropic's restricted cybersecurity model Mythos on the same day Anthropic announced plans to release it to a small set of partners under Project Glasswing, specifically to limit exposure and reduce misuse risks.

Details:

  • The users gained access to Mythos through a mix of tactics, including internet sleuthing tools often employed by cybersecurity researchers and "access" from a person currently employed at a third-party contractor that works for Anthropic.

  • Members are said to come from an online forum focused on unreleased AI models, and have been regularly using the model since they gained access, sharing screenshots and even a live demonstration.

  • Anthropic says it is investigating the incident and has found no evidence so far that its internal systems were compromised.

Sources suggest the group is "interested in playing around with new models, not wreaking havoc with them," but this still raises alarms that there might be others using Mythos without permission, and not merely to experiment.

OPENAI

OpenAI Launches Workspace Agents to Automate Team Workflows

OpenAI has introduced workspace agents in ChatGPT, turning the chatbot into a more autonomous platform designed to handle complex tasks across teams.

Details:

  • The company calls the new Codex-powered agents an "evolution of GPTs," going beyond just responding to individual prompts to handling multi-step tasks autonomously and continuing to run even when users are offline.

  • Each agent operates in its own dedicated workspace with access to files, code, tools, and persistent memory, allowing it to manage workflows across multiple systems.

  • The agents are built for team collaboration, able to pull context from different sources, request approvals, and integrate directly with tools like Slack.

  • Users can create agents quickly by describing workflows or uploading files, with templates available for common use cases like sales, marketing, and finance.

  • Example use cases include automating software reviews, routing product feedback, generating weekly reports, and managing lead outreach.

  • Agents can be scheduled, reused, and improved over time, turning scattered company knowledge into structured, repeatable workflows.

The feature is launching as a Research Preview for Business, Enterprise, Edu, and Teachers plans, free until May 2026, after which it moves to credit-based billing.

  2. Enter your topic in the search bar. For better results, your topic should be specific, clear, and self-explanatory.

  3. The platform may ask extra questions like "writing purpose." Once done, wait a few minutes for your article to be generated.

  4. Check the result, verify the sources used, and confirm the inclusion of up-to-date information.

You can click the PDF option on the bottom right corner to download it as a PDF, and scroll to the end to provide feedback.

Additionally, you can switch to Co-STORM mode to start a roundtable conversation instead. You'll find your articles and conversations in the "My Library" tab.

75% of Google’s new code is now generated by AI and then reviewed by human engineers, a sharp rise from 25% in 2024 and 50% in 2025.

OpenAI is deepening its cybersecurity collaboration with Microsoft through a new “Trusted Access for Cyber” program. The initiative gives Microsoft access to OpenAI’s most cyber-capable models, while Microsoft commits its cybersecurity teams to help protect OpenAI’s systems, infrastructure, and shared customers.

The company has released DESIGN. md, an open-source format from its Stitch tool that helps AI agents generate brand-consistent designs across projects. The format combines structured design tokens (like colors and fonts) with plain-text explanations, allowing AI systems to follow style rules and even check outputs against accessibility standards like WCAG.

The new feature is available in beta on all paid plans.

Mozilla says Anthropic’s Mythos AI model identified 271 security vulnerabilities in Firefox 150 during early testing, a sharp jump from just 22 bugs found by earlier models. Mozilla’s CTO described the system as matching top human security researchers.
